The Florida Chapter hosted Drew Ratterman of Dow AgroSciences and the AZ Foundation while he was in for a career expo sponsored by the UF College of Agricultural and Life Sciences. After a long flight from Indianapolis, we took Mr. Ratterman to dinner at the Swamp Restaurant, a must-visit for anyone touring Gainesville. Members gathered for a discussion of Mr. Ratterman's involvement with Alpha Zeta as a former member of the Auburn Chapter as well as a tasty dinner. Chips and queso complimented the great conversation! After graduate school at the University of Kentucky, Mr. Ratterman began a career with Dow AgroScience and has enjoyed every minute of his time there. It was a great opportunity to connect with someone so involved with agriculture and AZ and learn about the career opportunities in one of the largest agricultural players in the US. After dinner, Mr. Ratterman joined us for an officer meeting to learn a little about how we run our organization and plan events. We hope to have him down again soon! Member really enjoyed being able to talk with Drew and learned a lot from him.
