The Florida Chapter Inducts 34 New Brothers

Tuesday night brothers of the Florida Chapter gathered for the Induction ceremony of our spring 2014 pledge class. We started with the presentation of the pledge class's paddles which was then followed by the introduction of our guest speaker, Gustav Paulay, who gave a talk on invertebrate diversity on coral reefs. After the talk we enjoyed a nice sit down dinner with many of our alumni from all around our university's campus. Conversations varied from two alumni who were hobbyist flyers connecting over their love of planes to colony collapse disorder in apiaries. After dinner and dessert, the ceremony was held - filling half the ballroom! Afterwards there was time to reflect on our pledge class's accomplishments and mingle with our faculty and deans. We had an amazing time and are so proud of newest brothers
