Cook Chapter- Monster Mash

The brothers of the Alpha Zeta Cook Chapter ran a table with a fun Halloween-themed game the kids could play to get candy. The children were able to try to throw a plastic spider so it would stick into a spider web decoration. They had so much fun playing the game, and some even came back to play again! It was an enjoyable event for all and the brothers were glad they could help the New Brunswick community.

Cook Chapter- Game Night

Game night strengthened the chapter by allowing for a fun, relaxed time where new members could meet the brothers in a less formal setting during the week. Brothers worked to reserve the room and kindly supplied their own board games or video games for everyone to use for the night. It was a smaller, more intimate event where everyone could hang out and let the potential new members acquainted with the people who make up the chapter.

This was the Cook Chapter's opportunity to make a first impression on potential new members and answer any questions about who we are or what we do. Many potential new members attended and enjoyed the night as they socialized with the brothers of the Cook Chapter

NC paints the free expression tunnel with Dean Linton

The brothers and dean spray painted the date, time, and location of the event. Also cherries and phrases like "delicious” were spray painted to represent the ice cream flavor and entice the students into attending the event. All of the brothers and the dean were covered in paint and spray paint by the end of the event.  It was a pleasure to be able to have some fun with the new Dean of CALS and get to know him a little better on a little more personal level.

This year the Florida Chapter has asked the position of Publicity Coordinator to be as active as possible. As a response we have had many shirts created for events, such as the ones our members wore to Sea World just over a week ago (which you can see our members showing off at the penguin exhibit). The shirts pictured from this semester include our "semester" shirt (which is a shirt not for a specific event), the Sea World shirt and a shirt for our upcoming "Woodser" bonfire....

In September, the College of Agriculture at Chico State University held a New Student BBQ for freshman and transfer students. At this event, Alpha Zeta Eta was able to present all of the upcoming opportunities to get students involved in the agriculture community. The barbeque had a wonderful turn out and AZE was able to talk to numerous freshmen and transfer students about what the fraternity has to offer as well as the recruitment process. We are excited about all of the new students who are showing enthusiasm for Alpha Zeta!

The revenue from Swing-a-Thon goes towards Agriculture in the Classroom programs.

A. D. White Leadership Conference

On February 15, the executive officers of our chapter attended the A. D. White Leadership Conference. The conference consisted of a keynote speaker who discussed the identities of the true leaders of an organization as well as what makes the best leader. The overall goal of his talk was how we, as leaders, sometimes have restrictions, which may include tradition, habit, or conflict, that prevent the accomplishment of our goals...
