End of the Semester Candlelight

Originally posted by Lauren K. Mabry

After our regularly scheduled business meeting we held a candlelight ceremony in honor of our December graduates.  We all sat in a circle passing a candle around sharing our favorite memories of AZ, what Alpha Zeta has meant to us, and wishing those graduating the best of luck.  We ended with the graduating seniors telling their favorite memories and giving us advice as we finish our college careers.  It always an emotional and meaning full ceremony.

In completing this service event, members of the pledge class were able to help those women who are hurt and in need, while at the same time getting to know one another and other members of other organizations across campus. This counted as a service event for the pledges and could be one of their two required service points for the semester.
