This meeting was held on October 16th . The pledges were given a brief history of our Fraternity. We discussed various past activities that our chapter had done and future activities that we are planning, we also told them all the requisites that the pledges have to complete in order to be initiated. At the end of the meeting we had some pastries and the pledges were able to talk freely and ask questions to our members.

On September 24 we had our second fundraiser of the semester in our Agricultural Sciences building from 8:30am to 2:00pm. We were experimenting with this type of sale because our Chapter had never done it before and we didn't know if it was going to be successful, so we didn't want to buy to much product and then be unable to sell it. The sale was successful we made a total of $100, since we sold everything next time we know that there will be more demand.

The Townshend chapter of Alpha Zeta competed in our college's Back2School Bash Kickball tournament.  This project was a way for our chapter to get involved on our campus with other student organizations. Not only was there a kickball tournament, but an invlovement fair was also in progress for all of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences majors. Puerto Rico Chapter Hot Dog Fundraiser

On September 10 we had a Hot Dog fundraiser in our Agricultural Sciences building from 8:30am to 2:00pm. All the materials for the sale were donated by our members and with the money we made we will fund future fundraisers. The sale was a success we had 11 members help during the whole sale to work between classes and we made a total of $195.30.
