They then had to walk around the room and ask yes or no questions to everyone else to figure out who they had. It was big fun mess, and it ended with one person left not being able to guess that they were Tom Cruise. ...

The events were very successful, and it was a great opportunity for prospective pledges and current Brothers to interact and get to know one another.  Game night was especially fun, because we all got to sit around and talk to each other, and laugh while we played ...

The Florida Chapter Inducts 34 New Brothers

Tuesday night brothers of the Florida Chapter gathered for the Induction ceremony of our spring 2014 pledge class. We started with the presentation of the pledge class's paddles which was then followed by the introduction of our guest speaker, Gustav Paulay, who gave a talk on invertebrate diversity on coral reefs. After the talk we enjoyed a nice sit down dinner with many of our alumni from all around our university's campus. Conversations varied from two alumni who were hobbyist flyers ...

This past Tuesday, brothers of the Florida Chapter gathered in costume to meet their new Littles. The Littles dressed in costumes they were assigned to match their Big. Studying Away

Brothers from AZ joined together at Marston Science Library last night to tackle the daunting subject of Microbiology. We all sat around for hours quizzing each other on the material and discussing topics that some of us didn't fully understand. Being able to study in a group of intelligent peers allowed me to absorb the material and feel more confident to take my exam. We also munched on some tasty brownies and washed it down with green tea. It was a great bonding experience, as well as ...

Florida Chapter Key West Service Trip: Dinners

Every night of our spring break trip in Key West the entire group of 14 brothers cooked and ate dinner together. Some of the meals we prepare together were spaghetti and meatballs, tacos, and hamburgers and hotdogs. Although everyone looked forward to the delicious meals each night, we all were even more excited for the bonding that took place around our one dinner table. Each night we took turns reflecting on our favorite part of the service project from that day, as well as any ...

Florida's Key West Service Trip: Woman Key Clean-up

Alex S., a current pledge in the Florida Chapter, recounts a day of cleaning Woman Key during our recent Service Trip to Key West:"On our third day of service in Key West, we boated out to the island Woman Key to do a beach clean up. Woman Key is a nature preserve owned by the Key West National Wildlife Refuge and is closed to the public for wildlife habitat protection. As a result, all the marine debris that was found and collected on the island had been washed up from the ocean. We ...
