Prior to this activity we had made a storage facility with the intent to collect essential items and money for these to be delivered on this day. Once we raised what we needed and established a date with the shelter  we delivered the articles and share with the children, playing and talking with them.

It was intended for people of all ages, including kids, youth and adults. The intention was to dare us all to reduce, reuse and recycle in a creative way. The mother of two of our own members of the chapter gave us an orientation of recycling and taught us different ways to use materials in a fun way. Materials were given to us such as paper, newspaper, glitter and buttons. Afterwards, we enjoyed a nice and early Valentine's Day cake.
