The deadline for scholarship applications has been extended. Applications and supporting documents must be postmarked or e-mailed no later than February 15. Letters of recommendation may be mailed or e-mailed separately, but must arrive by February 22. Late applications will not be considered.
The Alpha Zeta Foundation annually awards a select number of outstanding Alpha Zeta student members scholarships based on scholastic achievement, leadership abilities, character, community service and financial need. The students who apply for the scholarships are the best of the best.
The National Alpha Zeta Scholarship Program is funded through the Alpha Zeta Foundation thanks to the continuing generous support of alumni. Contributions to the Alpha Zeta Foundation further the goals and success of outstanding students interested in serving agriculture. Scholarships and awards may be sponsored by endowments, memorial gifts or by corporate sponsors.

Scholarship FAQ
Who can apply? Members in good standing; enrolled as an undergraduate with one year (two semesters) remaining or, if pursing an advanced degree, an undergraduate at the time
of application.
When will I know if I have been selected? Recipients will be notified by mail, phone or e-mail on or before March 1.
When will scholarships be paid? Scholarships will be made in two payments; on Oct. 10 and Feb. 15.
What if I want to apply for a national and chapter-specific scholarship? The
same application form should be used and applicants will be considered
for both, however, one applicant may not receive a national and chapter-specific
scholarship.
Can more than one person from my chapter apply for a scholarship? Yes.
How will I know that my application has been received? If
you need confirmation, please send it with delivery verification.
Can the my transcript and letters of recommendation be sent separately? Yes, however, the completed application (if mailed) and support materials must be postmarked by the due date.
Can I check on the progress of my applications? The selection
committee will review your application. There is no need to contact us.
Why do I need to send a photograph with my application? The
photo will be used for publicity purposes only. A digital photo (minimum 640 x 480; 300 dpi) is recommended.
Should I get additional letters of recommendation? Only send letters that are required. Additional letters will be reviewed.
What if I am not sure of my summer/fall address? Please include a permanent or parent address.
