S’mores. Who doesn’t like them? A soft, melted marshmallow with melted chocolate and graham crackers over a warm fire is pure bliss. That is why Alpha Zeta Cook Chapter always hosts a s’mores rush event. The event is held right outside of our unofficial home, the Cook Campus Center and brothers come to eat some delicious s’mores while interacting with potential new members about why Alpha Zeta is so amazing. This event is open to anyone who wishes to come by. You can stay the whole hour or just five minutes, but regardless of how long you are there, everyone always feels welcome. This semester the event was held on January 31st, which happened to bring with it a snow storm. The friendship and brotherhood was felt more-so this semester than ever before because brothers came out and stood for the fraternity regardless of the cold weather conditions. It showed future members that this fraternity is really a family and that we take any situation and make the best of it. Standing in a snow storm next to a blazing fire while roasting marshmallows with family is what Alpha Zeta Cook Chapter is all about.
