To continue on our week of fun and exciting rush events, the brothers of the Cook Chapter hosted a game night on January 30th. We hosted the event in a public lounge on campus and the event was open to everyone. We brought video game systems and set them up on a huge flat screen TV in the lounge, and we even brought some classic board games like Scrabble and a deck of playing cards. Current members of our chapter brought snacks to share with everyone. Even though the event was geared toward potential new members, we kept it open and anyone could participate, even if it was just to learn about Alpha Zeta.

This event benefited current members of our chapter, potential new members, and the general student body of the campus. Our chapter benefited because we were able to talk to and instill interest in potential new members. One of our goals this semester is to increase our impact on campus and get our name out there and this was definitely a good way to do so. The planning of this event included asking members to donate games for the night, reserving space in the public lounge, and promoting the event on campus. Overall, it was a great event and an awesome time. We met many potential new members and also raised awareness of our chapter on campus.
