On Friday, November 22nd, the Cal Epsilon chapter at Fresno State dropped off their donations of canned food items to the Wesley United Methodist Church.  The donations came from members as a part of Fresno State's Canned Food Initiative.  Fresno State's goal was to donate over 300 pounds of canned food campus-wide to benefit the El Dorado Park community, a community near Fresno State that struggles with poverty and hunger.

On November 13, 2013 the Cal Epsilon Chapter held a shop day in the Fresno State Agricultural Mechanics Shop in which the new member candidates could come and create their own handcrafted Alpha Zeta paddle. This event was absolutely free of charge for the new member candidates. Custom paddles through the local woodworking shops typically range anywhere from twenty to seventy dollars, quite an expense.

On November 13, 2013 the Cal Epsilon Chapter held the New Member Alpha Zeta test under the direction of Censor, Brittany Hitchcock.  After attending various New Member Education seminars and Alpha Zeta trivia study sessions throughout the semester, the Cal Epsilon new member candidates were ready to take their initiation test. The Cal Epsilon Chapter is proud to announce that all ten new member candidates passed their Alpha Zeta test with an 80% or better....

On October 16th, Alpha Zeta-Cal Epsilon launched the "Save the Date" for the Alpha Zeta-Cal Epsilon Development Summit.  The Development Summit will be held Saturday, November 16th, at Fresno State's Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology.  At the AZDS any member of Alpha Zeta or the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology will have the unique opportunity to work with experienced industry professionals in respective fields....

On Friday, October 18th, 2013 the Alpha Zeta - Cal Epsilon Chapter volunteered their time to serve the community of Fresno at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo's annual Zoo Boo Event.  The event primarily focuses on a safe and family fun environment in which children can dress up and "trick-or-treat" around the zoo after normal operating hours.  Cal Epsilon had a superb group of volunteers in which they lead sections of the harvest carnival games and a candy station in front of the giraffes exhibit.  Members in attendance had a grand time passing out Halloween candy and proctoring carnival games...

On September 27, 2013 members of the Alpha Zeta - Cal Epsilon Chapter assisted in representing not only Fresno State Agriculture yet the agriculture industry as a whole at the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Valley Farm Exhibit located at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo.  The exhibit formerly existed as a small wonders petting zoo yet was soon transformed into a "Valley Farm" exhibit encompassing farm animals, row crops, fruit trees, and informational stations about California's number one agricultural industry....

Fresno State's Alpha Zeta- Cal Epsilon chapter took part in the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences & Technology's Club Fair.  This fair was open to any and all clubs across campus, to answer questions, recruit members, and increase student involvement.  Cal Epsilon's officer team and members had the opportunity to connect and network with fellow students, along with educate them about Alpha Zeta's history and goals..
