The Cornell Chapter has a semi-annual tradition of cleaning up our section of NY Route 96 the weekend of initiation to reinforce to our new members that service is one of the pillars of our organization. Unfortunately, the weather often disrupts this tradition so we end up having to reschedule it for another weekend. This past fall was no exception to this pattern and we moved our clean-up date from initiation weekend to December 15th 2016.  Our members donned gloves, vests, and hard-hats and went out in the unseasonably warm weather and removed the trash from our stretch of highway.
