Chapters looking for programs or activities should consider hosting Leading from Any Chair. The 90-minute workshop, developed and sponsored by Pioneer Hi-Bred International, is available to chapters at limited or no cost.
"Leading from Any Chair changed the way I lead and the way I work
with others," said Katie Krimetz (California Delta, '03). The seminar identifies individual leadership styles, discusses
strengths and weaknesses of those styles and how to most effectively
work with different types of leaders. The workshop was included at the 2006 National Agricultural Leadership Conference due to its popularity at the NALC and Conclave in 2005.
In 2005 the workshop was led by Pioneer's sales staff. In 2006, eight Alpha Zeta members were trained by Pioneer to present the seminar.
