Matthew Paul Rowe, 24, Neosho, Mo, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011, in Fayetteville, Ark.
He was born Oct. 16, 1987, in Joplin, Mo.
Matt was a lifelong area resident and a member of Jones Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. He was a graduate student at the University of Arkansas, where he was finishing his Masters degree in animal science. He was a member of Alpha Zeta fraternity, the FFA, and an outstanding transfer student of the animal science dept. at the university. He was a member of the Newton County Extension Council.
Matt and Johanna Baker were married Oct. 8, 2011, in Ridgley, Mo.
Friends may call at the funeral home, in Granby, Monday from 9 a.m to p.m., where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
