On October 18th, 2014, the Pledge Class went to the Jungle Friends primate sanctuary for their third service event. Fully aware that they would have to wear close-toed shoes and keep hats and sunglasses away from the mischievous monkeys, pledges set out to do a number of odd jobs around the sanctuary.
From 10:00am to 2:00pm, they helped prepare afternoon meals, cleaned monkey enclosures, and did yard work around the area. Afterwards, pledges were rewarded with the privilege of getting to feed some of the monkeys their afternoon snacks.
