This service project was planned by our service chair, Kaitlyn Summerfield. The UF AZ chapter benefited by coming together in order to make the lives of others better. The 10 members that participated made holiday cards that will be delivered to Royal Oak Nursing Home in Titusville, FL.

D'Lites is a local ice cream/frozen yogurt shop. We were given part of the proceeds from any sales within a certain time frame. Our fundraising chair, Gernide Zamor, planned this event. The UF AZ chapter benefited by earning more funds to help in our endeavors.

For 12-02-10, this service project was planned in order to collect items for care packages and pack the boxes that we have sent to soldiers over seas. Our service chair, Kaitlyn Summerfield, planned this event. Planning included setting a convenient time and place to meet, setting requirements for what could be donated as far as gifts and money to help ship the boxes, and then being in charge of actually shipping the boxes. Our chapter benefited by being a part of supporting our troops and seeing how our efforts directly impact their lives...

During the month of October in celebration of California State University Fresno’s 100th Birthday a local corn maze created a maze shaped as a happy 100th birthday CSU Fresno Symbol. Alpha Zeta California Epsilon Chapter members went in a group to the corn maze in celebration of Halloween. The group walked the maze together and had a fun time socializing as well as goofing around a bit. This activity was a social type of activity for members to have good fellowship with their fellow Alpha Zeta brothers and sisters...

Florida Fall '10 pledge Hygiene Supply Drive Service 11-29-10

Members of the 2010 Fall Pledge Class decided to contribute items to a campus-wide collection of shampoo, deodorant, body wash, and other personal bath products that were to be given to a shelter in the Gainesville community that serves abused and homeless women. In completing this service event, members of the pledge class were able to help those women who are hurt and in need, while at the same time getting to know one another and other members of other organizations across campus. This counted as a service event for the pledges and could be one of their two required service points for the semester.

Florida Fall '10 pledge Nature Walk Social 11-27-10

This nature walk was one of the socials planned by the pledge social committee that would count toward the pledge's two required socials. Members of the Fall 2010 Pledge Class met up and drove out to Paine's Praire where they went for a nature walk and enjoyed the outdoors and wildlife (birds, buffalo, etc.). This activity served as a nice way for the pledges to enjoy the afternoon while bonding with one another and getting to know their future fraternity brothers.

On Sunday November 21st, 27 brothers gathered in New Brunswick and celebrated the spirit of the holidays. With a massive turkey that was carefully cooked all day by brother Christina, each brother brought food with them and everyone feasted on all the delicious Thanksgiving fare.  Everyone was thankful for good food and good friends.

On November 13th, 60 brothers and over 25 alumni gathered at the Meadows to welcome in the 8 members of the Pi class into the brotherhood. The night included various chapter rituals (including the initiation ceremony), games, debates, and celebration. The Pi class also received their official gold AZ pin and were given their first set of letters.
