Mr. Jones graduated from Batavia High School in 1933 where he participated in such extra-curricular activities as male octet, band and the senior play. December 28, 2009   TIFTON, Ga. — Paul Pierce Gaines, 89, of Tifton died Friday, Dec. 25, 2009, at Tift Regional Medical Center.   Mr. Gaines attended Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College from 1937-1939, where he served as the college pianist and accompanist for the Men’s Glee Club.   He attended the University of Georgia and received a B.S.A. degree with a major in agricultural education in 1941.
