LOSANTVILLE - James Michael Burrows, 60, of Losantville, died 
unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 following an apparent heart 
attack.
He
 was born in Muncie on March 12, 1950, the son on Sharron and Dorothy 
(Cox) Burrows, and was a lifetime resident of the Losantville area.
James
 was a 1968 graduate of Union High School and a graduate of Purdue 
University, where he was a member of Alpha Zeta and Ceres honorary 
fraternities. He was a life long farmer and a retired employee of Dana 
Corporation, Hagerstown. He was a member of Riverside Cemetery Board and
 a former member of Union Township Advisory Board. He was a collector of
 antique cars and Minneapolis Moline tractors, and was a member of 
Randolph County Antique Tractor Club. He was a member of South Memorial 
Drive Church of God in New Castle.
Survivors
 include a brother, Monte Joe Burrows (Cynthia) of Modoc and a sister, 
Patricia Brooks of Losantville, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1983; his mother in 2009 and a brother, Tommy Sharp, in 2008.
Services
 will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 8, 2011 at Culberson Funeral 
Home, Hagerstown. Pastor Chris Gammello and Pastor Mort Radford will 
officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Losantville.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials should be directed to the donor's favorite charity.
