Meet the 2023-2025 High Council

High Chancellor George Stack

George Stack developed a passion for plants as he grew up on his family’s Christmas tree farm in Ballston Spa, NY.  He joined the Cornell Chapter in 2016 and quickly became enamored of his Chapter’s version of the Alpha Zeta Friendship Song. (If you ask him to, he’ll sing it for you.)  George graduated Cornell University with a B.S. in plant science in 2019 and recently completed his Ph.D. in plant breeding and genetics at Cornell. George works as a postdoc at Cornell AgriTech in Geneva, NY. George is no stranger to the High Council as he served as High Scribe during the 2021-2023 term.
