The week preceding Christmas, Cook Chapter learned of a local Homeless Shelter run by churches in the area. Each week, the shelter moves to a different church and volunteers sign the men in and stay up each night from 7pm to 7am in case of emergencies. Alpha Zeta was contacted by a local church for help and responded in force. At least one brother was at the church each night for the entire week. When our Executive Dean of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Dean Goodman, learned of our community service, he published it on page 7 of his January Monthly Report. Cook Chapter is again helping out at the same church this week, and we hope to help out many times in the future as well.
