The Florida Chapter had their last pledge meeting this past Tuesday November 4th. It was a bittersweet moment. Pledges finally finished their stressful 7 week process and were successful in fulfilling all of their requirements. It coincidentally was also Founder's Day, so we had a little celebration with cookies, chips, and subs.

Each pledge had to complete 5 hours of service, social, and fundraising each. Their service projects varied from working with monkeys in a Monkey Sanctuary to baking treats for sick children at the Ronald McDonald House. Socials included dinners at Moes and Tijuana Flats, movie nights, study socials, and paddle making parties. Fundraisers were held through concessions and car washes. They also had to complete their paddle and turn it in that night.

All in all, I am very proud of what this pledge class has accomplished. They managed to get everything done through their strong pledge class leadership, as well as enjoyed getting to know one another. We can't wait for the initiation ceremony on November 17th and welcome all of our new brothers!
