The North Carolina Chapter spent a beautiful Sunday morning, November 6th, volunteering at our very own North Carolina State University SOUL Garden. This is an on-campus organic garden that was established and is operated by student volunteers. SOUL actually stands for Students for Organic, United Living. The produce from the garden is donated to the Inner-Faith Food Shuttle, a local innovative hunger-relief organization serving seven counties in and around the Triangle, through their Plant-a-Row program. The garden recently suffered damage from Hurricane Matthew and were holding workdays to help rebuild some of the beds and fencing. We were so thankful to have the opportunity to help get the SOUL Garden back onto its feet so that it could continue helping those in need through Inter-Faith Food Shuttle. The Brothers that were able to attend had a blast working hard together planting, watering, and mulching the plant beds. #farmersfeedtheworld
