North Carolina Chapter Hosts the 42nd Annual Agriculture Awareness Week

The 42nd annual Agriculture Awareness Week sponsored by the North Carolina Chapter of Alpha Zeta was a success! With COVID restrictions from the University making things look much different this year, the Brotherhood made the most of the week and were able to raise $1600 (more than double of what we have raised to donate in previous years) for Feed the Pack Food Pantry at NC State University.

North Carolina Chapter Participates in Service Raleigh Clean-up

On Saturday, April 17, six Active Brothers of the North Carolina Chapter of Alpha Zeta participated in a Service Raleigh project! Service Raleigh is an organization that organizes a day of service for the entire city of Raleigh where volunteers from the community participate in a variety of service projects. The NC Chapter was assigned clean-up along and behind Hillsborough Street across from NC State’s campus. Brothers picked up a total of 3 large bags of trash. It was a great day to participate in service along with others across the city of Raleigh. Thank you to Brother Deese and Brother Furr for presenting this opportunity to the Brotherhood.

North Carolina Chapter 2021 Founder’s Day

North Carolina Chapter 2021 Founder’s Day

On Sunday, April 18, the North Carolina Chapter of Alpha Zeta came together in Mebane, NC to recognize the fraternity’s accomplishments and Brothers who received awards. This year, awards were presented for both the 2019-2020 year and the 2020-2021 year due to cancelation of last year’s Founder’s Day. Our keynote speaker was Brother Randy Foy who is an Alpha Zeta Alumni that graduated from NC State University in spring of 1990. He currently works as a personal finance representative in Goldsboro, NC. As he reflected on his time at NC State and in Alpha Zeta, one of his key points were to cherish the opportunities you have to build relationships with everyone you come in contact with.
