AZ Florida Chapter Celebrates Oktoberfest at Chapter

German food, Italy Study Abroad Presentation, and Friends

The Florida AZ Chapter makes coming to chapter meetings fun! For our mid-October general body chapter meeting, the theme was Oktoberfest! Plus, we had a couple of special visitors. Dr. Kaufman, who excitedly took on the role of chapter adviser this year, came to speak to all of us about a study abroad trip to Italy with his wife, also Dr. Kaufman. The male Dr. Kaufman was passionate about the program and will be teaching an entomology course on the trip, while the female Dr. Kaufman really knows her olives and will be sharing that knowledge on the trip as well! The presentation was certainly alluring, and a few of our brothers plan to take advantage this summer!
After the Italian presentation and business, we came back to our home-made German food (made by the amazing Sentinel, Stephanie Hriclk) and our Oktoberfest photo wall and cut-outs! In Florida, we work hard, eat well, and have fun. Oom Pa Pa!

AZ Cal Eta Recruitment Week

This week the Cal Eta chapter at Chico State University had rush events to recruit new members. Current and future brothers had a fun filled week participating in events such as a hamburger taste test, completing a list of tasks around Chico and photographing it, playing Minute to Win It games, and relaxing at the Bidwell Park barbeque. We enjoyed meeting potential new brothers and spending time with our chapter, here's to a great semester!

Cal Eta Chapter Ice Cream Social

Tonight, the Cal Eta chapter participated in the CSU Chico, College of Agriculture annual ice cream social. Each year, all of the agriculture clubs get together at an ice cream social to recruit and inform freshman and transfer students. We also provided delicious toppings for the ice cream and received a lot of interest from potential new members!

What does being an agriculture student mean to you?

Cassandra LannenCassandra is a senior in animal science from Glasgow and is a member of Alpha Zeta and Circle K. I chose to attend MSU's College of Agriculture because it is one of the best schools in Montana. I also had a tuition waiver for any in-state college. MSU's pre-vet program is a great preparation for vet school. I received the Harry Cockrum Memorial Scholarship, the Frank R. Beckley Scholarship, the Thomas D. Campbell Memorial Scholarship, and the Christy Foundation ...
