On Thursday June 21st, some brothers of the North Carolina Chapter were a part of the Livestock Science Camp at NC State University. We spread the word about Alpha Zeta and had some fun tossing eggs!
On Saturday, April the 28th, the North Carolina Chapter of Alpha Zeta gathered at Lake Johnson to celebrate our accomplishments of the year and give acknowledgment to those who received awards.
This past Wednesday, the North Carolina Chapter of Alpha Zeta held elections for the 2018-2019 year. These officers will be inducted during the last meeting of this school year.
Several brothers participated in Service Raleigh, which is an annual event that promotes service to the community.
The North Carolina Chapter took a trip to Roxboro, North Carolina to check out Rogers Cattle Company. They pride theirselves on pasture-raised Red Angus cattle and hair sheep.
Brothers toured a miniature horse breeding farm in Clayton, North Carolina on Saturday, April 14th.
Thanks to a gracious alumni, the North Carolina Chapter was able to complete another Preschool Ag Day at a different preschool in the community.
We had the amazing opportunity to visit a local preschool and teach them about animal agriculture! The kids were ecstatic to pet the animals and learn about what they do for us.
The North Carolina Chapter of Alpha Zeta hosted Ag Awareness Week in the heart of NC State's campus to promote agriculture and education about the industry to the public.
We traveled to several North Carolina agricultural operations to meet the farmers and see their farms. Brothers were able to fellowship with brothers as well as members of the Animal Science Club.
