The Montana Chapter of Alpha Zeta hit the ground running at the beginning of the 2015 Fall semester.

Their first event consisted of cleaning up Mandeville Creek. This charming creek flows right through the Montana State University campus, and it is the chapter's goal to make it look as lovely as it can. Members were able to work together and catch up with how everyone's summer break went. Every year Alpha Zeta members put in the time and effort to make campus a clean, inviting environment.

Next on the calendar was Montana State University's Celebrate Agriculture weekend. The week was packed with speakers, dedications, and awards all relating to agriculture, one of our state's greatest industries. The members decided to give thanks to all hard-working, agriculture-supporting MSU faculty by baking cookies. Once all the cookies were baked, we plated them and made sure they were safely delivered the next day.

Throughout the semester, the chapter has been discussing continuing a Peer Advising event. This event is an opportunity for any student in the College of Agriculture to come to an Alpha Zeta member for advice about planning their class schedule for the next semester. Planning is in full swing, and the event will take place this spring.

With one semester under their belts, members are ready to tackle 2016! All members of the Montana Chapter wish a happy new year to Alpha Zeta chapters everywhere!
