Each year, Texas A&M students participate in a service opportunity called the Big Event. It is the largest student-run, one-day service event in the country! The purpose of the Big Event is to show our gratitude, as students, to the community in which we attend school. On April 2nd, the Texas Alpha chapter proudly participated in this event. Members that attended went out into the community, and helped with general maintenance work around a Bryan citizen's house, including pulling weeds from the garden. It was a beautiful day spent helping the wonderful citizens of the Bryan-College Station area!
