Every Christmas, the NC Chapter sponsors a family in need through the Wake County Holiday Cheer Program. This year, we chose two families to donate Christmas presents and needed materials to. One was an elderly woman, who we gave pants, shoes, sweaters, lotions, a hairbrush, gloves, a hat, a scarf, socks, and a Walmart gift card. The second family with three children: 6-year-old daughter, 12-year-old daughter, and a teenage son. While the parents did not want anything for themselves, they did share with us the desires of the children We provided this family with an abundance of items, including shoes, drawing pads, a Barbie, gift cards, comforter sets, and many other items! All these items were wrapped and delivered to the families, prior to Christmas. We hope that our contributions allowed these families to have the best Christmas yet! Thank you to Brother Tessa Peerbolte for making this event possible!
