As one of our community service projects this year, the North Carolina Chapter thought it would be fun to participate in our county's "Walk-n-Wag" event held at Koka Booth Amphitheater on Oct 24. It was a 1 mile walk where people would pay $20 to register, bring their dogs, walk, and participate in different competitions. Since many brothers have dogs and family members battling cancer, we thought it was a good opportunity for us to show our support. We had five brothers that participated with six dogs. Our team raised over $200 dollars for the American Cancer Society! The different competitions included things like a costume contest or a musical doggie sit. It was a fun and rewarding day for those who participated!
