This spring semester, the Cook Chapter was joined with several alumni for a heartwarming ceremony.

On Saturday, November 3^rd, the North Carolina Chapter of Alpha Zeta hosted our annual Alumni Tailgate!

On Sunday September 9^th, the North Carolina Chapter held a Brother/Alumni Mixer. The purpose of this event was to inform the Alumni about the current changes and accomplishments of the active brotherhood.

Corporation Board members, alumni, and active members gathered to celebrate and award the accomplishments of seven of our talented individuals.

Thanks to a gracious alumni, the North Carolina Chapter was able to complete another Preschool Ag Day at a different preschool in the community. 

We had the amazing opportunity to visit a local preschool and teach them about animal agriculture! The kids were ecstatic to pet the animals and learn about what they do for us.

The North Carolina Chapter of Alpha Zeta hosted Ag Awareness Week in the heart of NC State's campus to promote agriculture and education about the industry to the public. 

What I learned from Alpha Zeta was how to interact with colleagues from many different backgrounds. Although I re-entered college as an older student, learning to speak with others as an agricultural professional is an important skill that will serve you well in many different jobs in this industry."

We had a chance to chat with Cal Epsilon alumnus, Raymond Maestas! Raymond graduated from Fresno State with a Bachelor's Degree in Plant Science in 2007. Since then, Raymond recently celebrated his first anniversary at Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. - Dinuba Innovation and Learning Center as a Station Manager! Read how Alpha Zeta helped him get where he is today: 

"Don't be afraid to try something new/different especially if you might better yourself because of it and never miss an opportunity to have an adventure with the people you care about, even if it means you have to wear a pair of slacks."
