Florida Fall '10 pledge A. Quinn Jones Food Drive Service 11-12 - 17-10

This project was put on by other groups at the University of Florida who asked other clubs and fraternities to help contribute cans and nonperishable items for the underserved Gainesville population. Some members of the Fall 2010 pledge class contributed to this cause by donating at least 5 cans or other food items in order to receive a service point that would count as one of their two required service events for their pledging semester. This was a rewarding project to participate in for pledge class members got to interact with each other as well as other students and members of other organizations on campus, all the while helping our local community.

As one of our community service projects this year, the North Carolina Chapter thought it would be fun to participate in our county's "Walk-n-Wag" event held at Koka Booth Amphitheater on Oct 24. It was a 1 mile walk where people would pay $20 to register, bring their dogs, walk, and participate in different competitions.
